The Haunting
Description
The Haunting is a mad house manufacturered by Vekoma. It opened in 1996 as the UK's only Vekoma mad house at the time. The ride follows the story of the haunting of the Drayton Manor Vicarage. A team of paranormal investigators were sent to the site to control the supernatural threat, but they were lost and never heard from again. It is now up to you (the riders) to find this paranormal phenomenon. The whole experience features many preshows, dark corridors and dark, scary scenes.

- •Gold Rush can run two separate cycles which can lead to two different ride experiences. Cycle 1 runs from the second the ride opens and continues to do so until it switches to cycle 2. Cycle 2 runs in the afternoon until the end of the day (usually starting around 2pm). If you want to catch both, make sure to visit Gold Rush more than once during your visit.
