Since 1946, the Koch family has owned and operated this Holiday Themed Park in Southern Indiana, USA. The park originally opened in 1946 named Santa Claus Land and later expanded including more holiday themed areas and changed the park name to Holiday World in 1984. Splashin' Safari Water Park directly attached to Holiday World was added in 1993. In 2006, the forth themed land "Thanksgiving" was added to the park. Holiday World is also known for its cleanliness as well as providing free parking, sun screen and soft drinks to all park guests.
